Micronutrients are nutrients required by humans and other living things throughout life in small quantities to orchestrate a whole range of physiological functions, but which the organism itself cannot produce.
As well as humans Plants needs Micronutrients as well and in absence of these Micronutrients the plants are unable to complete a normal life cycle.
Plants must obtain mineral nutrients such as primary and secondary macronutrients: nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, phosphates, calcium, sulphur , nitrates, and magnesium.
Micronutrients are present in plant tissue in quantities measured in parts per million, ranging from 5 to 200 ppm, or less than 0.02% dry weight
